Read: Section 3, “A Quiet Space to Pray for Life’s Stresses,” Quiet Spaces: Prayer Interludes for Women, pages 85-117.
Throughout the course of your day, what kinds of things do you do to save time, borrow time, lose time, or make up time? Do they work?
Our Time and God’s Time
Write out this verse: “A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by” (Psalm 90:4). What does this say to you about God’s limitless time? How does this change your ideas of trying to save time, borrow time, lose time, or make up time?
Help Me, God
God of time, help me to realize that there are no boundaries of finite time and that I am a child of limitless time.” (Pray specifically about how you feel regarding this idea of limitless time.)

How does the idea of time being a finite, concrete measurement affect the way you deal with it? How does the idea of God’s time being infinite and limitless change this?
